We’re having a …

boy

We are so excited to finally know what this little one is.  Now all I have to do is transition from saying “it” to “he” which has proven a little difficult.  I wasn’t supposed to have an ultrasound on my second appointment but I’m beginning to learn just how many perks there are to working in a hospital.  The doctor was so nice and was only worried about Nate not being there.  He won’t be at my 20 week ultrasound anyway, so I figured he wouldn’t mind.  Which he didn’t.  He’s just excited to know what we’re having!

I was out and about running errands before work yesterday and bought some little boy onesies.  I wanted to buy baby things the last month or so, but everything is so expensive!  Now that we know he is a little boy I’m letting myself get things.  One thing I noticed, there are a lot more little girl things than little boy things.  Not as much to choose from, but a lot less to be tempted by!

congratulations! it’s true – there are way more girl things, but there’s still plenty to tempt you:) i don’t know if you already know this but kid to kid has really good deals on stuff (i like the one in lindon better than provo…) and saver’s offers a 20% military discount. i’m not ashamed to admit that i use it:)

Congratulations!! You’ll love boys. Hopefully taking care of my boys gave you a little taste of how fun they can be. And now you can have your own Peter right!! Good Luck!!

OshKosh, Carter’s, and The Children’s Place (oh and Old Navy) make the best boy stuff–hit up the park City outlets at the end of the season for good deals. Also, ebay has been my best friend for kid’s clothes! Shopping is the best part :).
